I’ve started painting these individual portraits. This is the first one, which is still very much a work in process. I’ve always been more of a watercolor or markers/colored pencils kind of girl, so painting with acrylic is a new experience for me.
I admire those who can stick with something that isn’t working in effort to make it work. I on the other hand enjoy the freedom of saying goodbye when things aren’t working - this may include dealing with assholes, sexism, and all that other fun stuff. Life’s short. Be honest with yourself and spend it with people you love, doing the things you love, that’s my motto.
These two have quickly become my favorite out of all the people I’ve drawn. It’s a lovely trait when people who appreciate fashion don’t take themselves too seriously, or anyone for the matter, despite what they appreciate. Follow me on instagram for daily updates. And, happy Friday all!
The latest, also up on pploffashion.
And, some more!
I’ve started an instagram account called People of Fashion which features a drawing daily. I’m a bit slower in updating them on this blog, so if you want, you can follow me there for daily updates.
Self portrait of me and the pup in honor of the launch of my instagram account pplOfFashion (where I update daily posts of the people and outfits I’ve drawn).
People. A WIP.
I haven’t put these ladies into the lineup yet, but they’re quickly becoming one of my favorites.
